There has been a a ticket booth for several years. Someone has to pay for the overpriced "visitors center". What should be listed on the free side? Killarney National Park, the Slea Head drive on the Dingle Peninsula, the Mizen, Sheepshead and beara peninsulas all in the west and south west and free.
