How ‘Typhoid Mary’ infected countless and still haunts a New York island

Thanks, Irish Central! Like most people, I had heard of "Typhoid Mary", but never learned the details of her story. Personally, I think she was acting reprehensibly, in returning to work in culinary affairs. She had been told of the risks, and then ignored the terms of her release. Despite my strong feelings for Irish women, I doubt I would have gone out with Mary Mallon! Still, it is amazing that she never got the disease herself. I believe there is now an inoculation for Typhoid Fever. Does anybody know this for sure"?

Sure, good news travels fast but bad news travels faster. Many of us already knew about Typhoid Mary. Digging her up again is arguably maybe good to cleanse the soul or whatever. Myself, I argue against it.
