Thankfully, Beck's 15 minutes apparently are up. But he certainly had that smug, snotty, sarcastic attitude that seems to be in fashion nowadays.

Hang on a moment. This might be the first and last time that I defend Glenn Beck. But surely he is DELIBERATELY doing a bad Irish accent as a way of satirising Obama's supposed efforts. Mind you, somebody might explain to him that it is "WestMINSTER Abbey" not "West MINISTER Abbey"

Could any of us imagine the uproar if an Irish delegate or president tried to use Black slang when speaking to Obama! Why Obama isn't listed as the most offensive of all attempts at "Irish Talk" is beyond my comprehension. An article needs to be written to focus on just what a buffoon this Obama is, especially how he stereotypes our heritage. What a disgrace he is and what poor reporting this piece of "journalism" is.

In trying to pile on against Beck, IC inadvertantly highlighted an incident that wasn't covered very much -- Barack Obama's offensive and unfunny attempt to mimic an Irish accent. In front of the President of Ireland no less and for the benefit of the press. This is highly insulting. IC should rewrite this story and put Obama should on the top of this list.
