I should have said: Michael Egan New York and Nicholas Crean New Jersey.
I am on the Egan/Fitzgerald/Crean/Lynch family tree from Castlegregory, Dingle penninsula, Cty Kerry. I would appreciate help in tracing my lineage especially on the Crean branches. Michael Egan and Nicholas Crean were my Grandfathers in New York and New York respectively.
I was born a Fitzgerald. Trying to find information on the famous American, Lt.Edward Fitzgerald Beale who brought camels to the west USA. Where did the middle name come from? I have researced for years to no avail!
we fitzgeralds were kerry based and lived in the most stunning place in kerry looking out towards the sea and the original house is still partially there the history is great reading
i am a fitzgerald and come from a large family going back to the 1800 interesting reading
My mother is a Fitzgerald. My family name is Blake. I think Blakes settled in Ireland from Scotland, but I don't know where. Any info?
Correction: I meant to write family name; instead wrote family mane. Will use spellcheck in future.
Sorry, my fingers were a little dyslexic when I spelled name. I put mane instead of name. Will use spellcheck in future.
My family mane was originally spelled--MacGiolla Padraig-- but my great-grandfather changed it to Fitzpatrick. Our family is from Belturbet town, and Cavan town in County Cavan.
