Frommer’s, one of the most trusted names in travel today, has named Dublin as one of the best cities to drink beer in in the world.

Dublin is great when it comes to number of choices of pubs. PorterHouse is good because they make their own beer. (i prefer the one in Bray) and there is a German beer hall style pub upstairs at the Bull & Castle... but when it comes to sheer choice of beer Dublin or Ireland just doesn't compare to places like Belgium, USA & Germany. In Belgium there are bars with over 300 beers in stock and there is a beer store in Portland Oregon that i used to frequent that sold over 1000 different beers!
