Winners will be chosen by the Twin Fest Team judges one week after the competition closes. Competition will close on July 1, 2013.

Twin Fest Ireland is the National Festival for twins triplets and all multiples in Ireland. It was created as a festival to bring together identical, fraternal, young and old, twins, triplets ,quads and their families in one location from all parts of Ireland while raising funds for chosen charities.

The Festival originated as an idea to raise funds for what was known as the Meningitis Trust in memory of an Angle, Katie Garvey who at aged five months succumbed to this deadly disease on Valentine’s Day 2007.Katie’s parents Martha and George wished to make aware to other parents at how life treating Meningitis can be by sharing their story with others and providing funds too. Patrick Ward Katie’s uncle who himself is a twin pushed this idea, to which is now Ireland’s National Festival for Twins.

To date Twin Fest has awarded funds totaling €14,654 to the following charities The Meningitis Trust, The Little Fighters Fund, Act for Meningitis, and Keash Village Enchantment Ltd.

Twin Fest Ireland 2013 are delighted to be supporting ACT for Meningitis.
