Concerning the overall perspective of Benedict XVI being the fulfillment of "Gloria Olivae" - look at the following link, where the subtitle begins "The Reign of the Five Popes" - note the quatrain interpreted "after the very aged pope's death". This link was published before John Paul II superceded the previous interpretation. Is Joseph Ratzinger a "Roman of good age" ?
Greetings in the Resurrected Christ! Jesus Christ has raised me from the dead to the office of Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman).
the "dreadful judge": Who is that supposed to be? Jesus? If Jesus is the judge, then this might be interest: Matth. 23:9: And do not call anyone on earth your ‘Father,’ for you have one Father, he who is in heaven. 10 Nor are you to be called ‘Teacher,’ for you have one Teacher, the Christ. 11 He who is greatest among you shall be your servant. A "Holy Father" is in that context, having to face the Lord, indeed having a hard time explaining the title "Holy Father". And that is just one point. And there is also this: Matth. 7:22:On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers!’ Jesus, the Lord and last judge, left a really briliant pre-judice about those coming in his name. He was genuinely prohetic prophetic in this as those many servants were making earth a miserable place, ie. the many times they supported wars,... or the child abuse. When there is talk of a dreadful judge then it could likely come from clerics who somehow figured out that they were useless to say the least. The inquisition for instance began about the time Malachi made his prophecies, another dark chapter confirming Jesus' pre-judice mentioned above.
Pardon me but I heard another prophecy that said that the Pope that would would shed blood through violent means would be the second-last Pope. John Paul II was shot and bled from his wounds. So that should make Benedict the last Pope. The frightening part of the prophecy is that the last Pope would leave Rome over the dead bodies of his priests. Hands up - nuclear war ahead? Anyone?
