We visited in late August 2007 and NO rain, but wonderful "40 shades" of green thanks to the 40days of rain. John Holland the inventor of the modern submarine was born in CountyClare, Ireland..add that to your list. His vessel the "Holland" proved that the submarine was practical and based on this model later subs were developed and his company Electric Boat a division of GD are significant. Far more impressive than Croke Park,4th largest stadium, do you agree?

Is there really nothing more interesting to list than the fact that Croke Park is the fourth largest stadium in Europe...zzzzzz
