The wild waters of the Atlantic - Irish photographer offers snapshot of winter storm at sea

I took the photos at around noon on Febuary 4th from an area called Cloughclass, just outside the fishing village of Burtonport in Co. Donegal, from here I can get a good view of Arranmore bay and Arranmore island. It was almost impossible to hold the camera steady as there was gusts of 130+kmh and a wind chill of -7 celsius. The waves were huge as you can see and it stopped the island’s ferry service from its regular service<br /> - John Rafferty https://www.facebook.com/photosofdonegal View from Cloughclass, Co.
