This weekend millions of people around the world will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Almost 40 million people in the U.S. claim Irish heritage, so there is no way of avoiding the March 17 celebrations. From a U.S prospective here are ten reasons why dislike St. Patrick’s Day. - Edward T. Morita Why does everyone try to make a buck off poor auld St. Patrick? In March it seems you can buy almost anything in some shade of green. You don't need a green feather boa to enjoy the day, so save yourself the cash and treat yourself to some good Irish grub instead. - Google Images Consuming green food does not make you Irish! You can eat as many green bagels are you want, but other than entertaining kids, dying food green seems a waste of energy. I agree with all of the above except the one about it turning into a month long celebration. I like that. SOmething Irish going on every weekend from March 1 to the end of the month!! I think that is great!!!
