Last week, the newest Wider Horizons group from Clanrye arrived in Boston, surely jet-lagged but eager to start their six week program in the United States. They jumped right in to exploring the city, kicking off the week with a Duck Tour. The group also had the opportunity to get to know the IIIC staff and volunteers early last week during a chatter-filled breakfast meet and greet.

Twenty-one trainees (plus the group supervisor) are present on this program and they are scattered throughout town, working in local youth and community non-profit organizations. This is a great opportunity for them to get solid experience as well as learn about the benefits of working for such organizations.

The IIIC warmly welcomes the Clanrye Wider Horizons group to Boston. Thanks to all of the host families and work placements for hosting the trainees during their stay.
