On Saturday May 11th, the Grealish Boxing club will host Ballymena All Saints ABC at the Dorchester Armory, 70 Victory Road.

Ballymena All Saints ABC has a long history in boxing and is in existence for over 50 years. In that time they have had NI champions and All-Ireland champions of all ages and have had boxers compete at 3 different Commonwealth games.

Their current coach, Gerry Hamill is a former Commonwealth games gold medalist and represented Ireland at the1976 Olympic Games. This is the second time the All Saints ABC have visited Boston having boxed here in 1999 with two of the fighters who traveled with that team, Dermot & T J Hamill, returning again.

The team traveling to the U.S. on this occasion contains a mixture of young kids on their first trip outside Ireland and a few veterans, possibly competing in their last contest. In addition to the aforementioned, there are other boxers taking part who are good enough to carry the colors of All Saints at international level.

Both clubs are looking forward to forthcoming tournament and know that the spectators will not be disappointed with both sets of fighters ready for action.

The event takes place on Saturday May 11th at 7.30pm with doors opening at 6.30pm. Tickets are $20 for adults with free entry for under-12s. For tickets or for more info contact Nicola 617-449-8931.
