Irish Senior Connect is a free service that offers support for seniors.

Irish Senior Connect, the listening line, is coming to you! We’re telling everyone we know about our volunteer based service located at the Irish Pastoral Centre in Dorchester. It is sponsored by the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers, and funded by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and the American Ireland Fund.

Our volunteers, many of them seniors themselves, are waiting to take your call. Through their life experiences and training, they provide a supportive and friendly response that offers a listening ear for conversation or concerns, and gives helpful information from our local resource files about services you may need. All calls are completely confidential and free of charge.

You will soon be finding our flyers and brochures in your favorite places, describing the concept of the listening line, and how many seniors it has helped connect and support over many years in Ireland. The U.S. program is based on the Irish model, and seeks to ensure that no senior is left to feel isolated or alone.

Now that you know more about us, and the ways we can be helpful to Irish and Irish American seniors, why not pick up your telephone and call us at our free service number 855-249-5146.
