The IIIC will offer a Home Health Aide course.
The Irish International Immigrant Center is pleased to announce the details for the Fall 2012 Home Health Aide course. The class is set to begin September 25th and will run for eight weeks at the Hancock Park Adult Day Center in Quincy. The class, which began in 2009 and continues with the generous volunteer instruction of experienced, professional Irish nurses, is designed to meet the needs of Irish learners and enable individuals to gain a basic pre-certification in the Home Health Aide field and increase the opportunity for employment for those who may have difficulties accessing other training courses in the area. In addition, students complete a CPR certification course as part of the certification process and are connected to a network of employers and alumni. Space is very limited and certain restrictions apply.
