Rory McIlroy level par after second round at Honda Classic

World number nine golfer Rory McIlroy is even par after the second round of the Honda Classic at the PGA National Resort & Spa's Champion Course in Palm Beach after carding a 69.

McIlroy started his round early on the back nine and reeled off nine straight pars before birdies at the 2nd and 4th saw him climb to one under par. However, a bogey on the 7th hole left the County Down native level for the tournament.

Padraig Harrington tees off at lunchtime and is one over par after shooting a 71 on Thursday.

Camillo Villegas is currently the leader on the course at eight under par.
