The coming of spring means that summer is right around the corner, and the ICC has been hard at work preparing for its annual Celtic Cultural Camps this July and August! This year, the camp will run for four weeks in the middle of summer: July 15-19, July 22-26, July 29-August 2, and August 5-9. The CCC is a fun and educational program about Irish culture and traditions for children in grades 1-5 and 6-8, specifically designed for and tailored to the needs and interests of both elementary school and middle school students. It provides a wide range of classes and activities, including instruction in Irish sports including Irish football and hurling, language, music, and dance as well as arts & crafts, storytelling, and literature.

This unique camp is one of the only places in this area where you can find an internationally certified Irish youth football coach; an Irish language professor; and a professional Irish dancer all part of the same program. Whether your child is an experienced Irish dancer or a newcomer to the tin whistle, the camp instructors will help them to strengthen their skills and learn new ones. Ensuring that each child’s needs are met and that the week runs smoothly are our fantastic camp staff. Our Celtic Cultural Camp team is a group of mature, energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic staff handpicked to be positive role models, provide comfort and safety, and create a fun and active environment for kids.
Regular camp hours for each week run from 9am-3pm. Parents looking for additional hours for their children may sign up for the Extended Hours Program, which extends hours in the morning from 8-9am and in the afternoon from 3-5:30pm. The camp also features an Early Bird Special price discount: register by May 1st and receive $30 off the total cost! At just $300 per week per child, with a 10% discount for siblings and another 10% discount for multiple weeks of camp, we strive to provide affordable, high-quality cultural activities for children to enjoy. In addition, members of the Irish Cultural Centre receive a discounted rate of $250 per week.

Further details on registration and our course offerings can be found on our website, by calling the ICC Office, or by picking up a camp brochure at the Centre.
