Volunteer Kevin O'Sullivan leads the CARA
Club into a sing-a-long.
By Eileen O’Callaghan, Senior Program Outreach Coordinator
Due to Columbus Day the CARA club did not meet this week. However it will be full steam ahead this Monday when attorney Mary McNamara joins us. Mary specializes in Estate Law and will talk about making a simple will, Power of Attorney and will answer any queries. Looking forward to getting to know everyone at the CARA club!
Café Eireann in Dorchester had a great turn out of about 35 people. As usual the morning was a great success, meeting new friends and old over tea and freshly baked goodies. Marie Burke was warmly welcomed as she offered free health checks and reminded all that flu season is nearly upon us. Teresa Kelly entertained many with Arts and Crafts, which had a spooky theme of Halloween!

Volunteer Teresa with the seniors at Cafe Eireann helps
make some arts and crafts.
Thanks again to Marie and Teresa for their time and energy. Special thanks to all the volunteers who made this week, as always, such a success. Next week we will have the pleasure of being joined by Sr. Consilio. Sr. Consilio is originally from Co. Cork and is the founder of ‘Cuan Mhuire’. ‘Cuan Mhuire’ is Ireland’s largest voluntary provider of Rehabilitation Treatment for individuals suffering from addiction and other related issues. We are looking forward to warmly welcoming Sr. Consilio to Café Eireann. Hope to see you all then!
