The Irish International Immigrant Center provides Irish Immigrants with free, professional, and confidential legal assistance on immigration and citizenship matters. For assistance with immigration and citizenship questions, please attend one of our free weekly legal clinics and meet with our dedicated and experienced immigration attorneys and citizenship experts. Wellness Services
The IIIC is here to help Irish immigrants be successful and to thrive in their adopted home. Danielle Owen, a licensed substance abuse counselor, can assist you if you are experiencing issues such as substance abuse, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, lack of access to health care, or homelessness. Contact Danielle, at 617-542-7654 or at dowen@iiicenter.org. All calls will be treated confidentially. We also provide free Health Care screenings. Please keep an eye on the Irish Emigrant for the date of the next screening.
Education Services
The IIIC helps Irish immigrants find work, build your resume and we offer courses that increase your confidence as apply for new jobs, prepare for career changes or prepare for the workforce. We have a state-of-the-art computer classroom which is available for your use as you prepare your resume and for job interviews. In the New Year, you can also attend an excellent 12-week course where you can become an expert in the Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-point and Access in addition to learning how to best approach job searches and interviews. We run a wonderful Home-Health Aide Class and we encourage you to call Kielan O’Boyle if you are interested in finding out more information or to register.
