IIIC Class Instructor Chris Tegmo and Classroom Assistant, Berlange Gauthier
celebrate the commencement of the new computer skills course.
Filled with hope and determination, 17 new adult students started a twelve week course to improve their computer and job readiness skills this past week at the IIIC. The Online Learning Readiness (OLLR) course enables students to gain skills in three areas: becoming independent learners, acquiring technology skills, and to preparing to enter the workforce. Participants who successfully complete OLLR will earn a Digital Literacy certificate and are eligible to purchase a net-book for a $50.

Ronnie Millar, IIIC’s deputy director, said of the course, “I am delighted the course has commenced and that we have a range of students attending. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is seeking to enter the workforce, change careers, or advance his or her career. I especially encourage Irish immigrants in the Boston area to consider taking the course.”

Our Class Instructor Chris Tegmo and Classroom Assistant, Berlange Gauthier make the class fun and informative. The next course starts in January 2013. We recommend that you register as soon as possible because of the high interest.
