Fernando Torres has told Chelsea fans not to worry about his lack of goals for his new club.

The striker has yet to score in six games since his British record transfer from Liverpool.

Substitute Torres again failed to hit the target against Copenhagen as Chelsea booked a mouth watering Champions League semi-final clash with Manchester United.

“It was a good game for us with a lot of chances,” Torres told his club’s official website.

“We didn’t score but we created a lot, so we must be happy because we are in the quarter-final.

“The main thing is to get chances. You have to be worried when, at the end of the game, the team didn’t create chances.

“So we can always create chances and it is not very often we will finish a game 0-0. We will score in almost every game.”

Torres also believes he can form a successful partnership with Didier Drogba.

He added: “I think we are mature enough and clever enough to play together. There’s no question about this.”
