We are delighted to partner with Liam Harney and the Harney Academy to present a feis for festival spectators and participants alike to enjoy. A feis is an Irish word that has become synonymous with Irish dance competitions similar to the World Irish Dancing Championships that recently took place in Boston. We welcome dancers young and old, novice and experienced, to compete on five stages for a day of non-stop Irish dance on Saturday, June 8 beginning at 8:30am. Dancers of all ages and abilities may sign up to participate in the competitions by visiting either the Boston Irish Festival website, www.BostonIrishFestival.info, or the Harney Academy website, www.harneyacademy.com.

Our feis chairpersons are Liam Harney, ADCRG, and Margaret McCarthy, TMRF. The closing date for registrations is May 20, 2013. After all entries are received, a schedule will be provided. This will allow the schedule to be as accurate as possible. We plan to keep entries to a minimum for our first year, so make sure to send your registration in early to ensure yourself a place on the stage!

The Boston Irish Festival Feis is registered, sanctioned and governed by rules of An Coimisiun, North American Feis Commission & the New England Region Pat Watkins, President NAFC.
