Jessica Chastain
The 'Zero Dark Thirty' actress admits she and Golden Globe-nominated director Kathryn Bigelow would email each other cute clips of pooches being rescued whenever filming on the set of the drama about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden got too dark and depressing.

She told Stylist magazine: "Kathryn and I would send each other a video of a dog being rescued. As we were filming these very intense interrogation scenes, I'd get an email from her about a dog that was found in a dumpster and gets cleaned up and finds a new home.

"We tried to remind ourselves that there is joy and love in the world."

The 31-year-old beauty has been working non-stop for the past few years, making a name for herself with an impressive portfolio of films including 'The Tree of Life', 'Lawless' and 'The Help'.

However, Jessica says she hasn't been affected by her newfound celebrity status and the only difference is the growing number of A-list contacts in her phone book and her increasingly crazy schedule.

She said: "The way life has changed most is that Kathryn Bigelow calls me on my cell phone. Or Gary Oldman says we should work together. It's been very welcoming.

"Right now I just feel so lucky with everything; I don't really feel like I need to accomplish anything else. Maybe my resolution would be to take a vacation."
