The 'You Da One' singer finds it is "not really that cool" being single, but is so busy with her pop career - always moving from one place to the next on tour - she has her no time for a relationship.

Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' she said: "I’m not dating anyone right now. I’m not dating at all. I’m not necessarily happy being single. It’s not really that cool."

Rihanna – who denied any romance with boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy, who appears in the video for her single 'We Found Love' - added putting much so effort into her career leaves her craving sex.

She added: “I do put a lot into my job - most of my time if not all of it. It definitely affects my personal life.

"My personal life is pretty much non-existent, which is not good, not for the long run. Not for me, not for ‘Her,’" at which point she pointed between her legs.

She jokingly added: "That’s why I stay on twitter a lot. So I can converse with my fans - because I don’t get any booty calls. (sic)”

The Barbadian beauty also said she likes a man to be "aggressive" and "mysterious," and know his role in the relationship.

She added: “I like men that are more aggressive, but mysterious.

“I like them to be sure of themselves and know that you’re the man. I’m the lady and the only way for us to make this work is for us to play our roles.

"You know, I can’t really be the man for you. I don’t want to have to be. I’m the man at work all the time.”

Rihanna's sixth album, 'Talk That Talk,' was released on Friday.
