Though millions of girls around the world would do anything to swap places with Reese Witherspoon in order to get close to Robert Pattinson, Ms Witherspoon recently confessed that getting cozy to the English heartthrob was anything but wonderful.

In their new film “Water for Elephants,” Witherspoon explained that Pattinson was not in an ideal state while filming their much anticipated love scene: “Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I've ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life. He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it - and it was not appealing. I'm talking green, infectious, disgusting - I'm not kidding!”

Though Witherspoon may not have enjoyed shooting the love scenes, she admitted in the Huffington Post that there were no hard feelings between the pair, adding that their promotional press tour would be full of laughs: “We'll probably just laugh the whole time, because all we do is joke around and laugh...we just have a great time.”

No word on whether or not Pattinson found Witherspoon’s remarks about his ill health funny, though he previously commented on his chemistry with a different co-star – the elephant of the film – stating: “I just have a way with animals.”

Though the love scene may have been an arduous task for the duo, the film is getting a lot of hype and is sure to have Pattinson’s female fans flocking to catch it on the big screen.
