Collette Mullarkey, originally from Sligo, now charges over $900 for pretending to be Kate Middleton, betrothed of Prince William. Mullarkey, formerly a dancer with “Riverdance” has found that she’s making extra cash since the royal British couple got enaged.

Mullarkey (23) now lives in Hammersmith, west London with her boyfriend Ben Martin (24). She has been working as a Kate lookalike since last April.

Speaking to The Sun she said “I'm a professional Irish dancer and part of the European Riverdance troupe.

“But when I'm not touring I need to find other work so I do secretarial jobs and work as a Kate lookalike.

“My boyfriend Ben's mum first spotted that I looked similar to Kate and she encouraged me to send a picture to a lookalike agency.

“I was a bit embarrassed and thought nothing of it at first. But then I was working in a shop and heard some customers saying how much I resembled Kate so I decided to go for it.

“My first job was a TV shoot and I'm really enjoying the work. I keep my hair in good condition with regular trims and as a dancer I keep in shape at the gym anyway.

“My boyfriend is a personal trainer and in the future I'd like to do that too.

“As well as having long, dark hair like Kate's I try to get other parts of her look right too. She always has a lovely looking natural tan and as a dancer I wear spray tan pretty much all the time anyway. But it would be nice to have as many holidays in the sun as she does!

“I'm having a lot of fun being a lookalike and if the work is there I'd like to continue.

“My boyfriend thinks it's great and all my family are proud of me.”
