The 30-year-old blonde is inspired by high-profile women including Oprah Winfrey, Kate Moss and Audrey Hepburn, but insists she has never tried to mimic anyone else.

She said: "I have always admired Marilyn Monroe, because the camera loved her. Audrey Hepburn, for being so classic, and Kate Moss. I have always looked up to Martha Stewart and Oprah Winfrey.

"There's a lot that goes into this. It didn't just happen. I've worked for fifteen years.

"I'm very fun, and I'm very daring. I don't copy anybody. I'm like my own Barbie doll!"

The socialite has a lengthy career in reality TV behind her, which began with 2003's 'The Simple Life', and Paris says it was the perfect introduction to television because she was given a "persona" in which to hide her shyness.

She explained to the new issue of V magazine: "They told me to play a character; 'Green Acres' meet 'Clueless.'

"It was comfortable, because I was shy and I could hide behind that persona."

These days, Paris can be seen in 'The World According to Paris', which she says showcases who she really is.

She explained: "I get to use my real voice. I love the show because it's showing more of the real me, as a business woman. I wanted to show what its like to be in my world."
