One Direction's Niall Horan

One Direction’s resident Irish lad Niall Horan, who hails from Mullingar, has been teasing Directioners about what’s in store in their upcoming movie ‘One Direction: This Is Us.’

"It's more documentary than concert," Horan told RTE2. "It's just a bit of insight into what goes on.”

"You can imagine fans standing outside arenas, wondering what goes on in the dressing room.”

"I think this is what we want them to see because the fans know us but they know the public perception," he added. "I think it's good for them to see what we're like as people and friends."

While chatting with RTE2, Horan also spoke about the Twitter mania he and his bandmates - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson - have brought upon themselves since skyrocketing to fame over the past two years.

“We do joke 'Oh you've got more followers than him' and it's just a bit of a laugh," he said.
Horan’s Twitter account @NiallOfficial currently boasts an impressive 11.7 million followers. The Irish singer is keen on reaching out to his fans, and letting them know what he’s up to when he’s not performing.

On May 29, Horan was Tweeting live from Wembley Stadium where Ireland was facing off against England in a soccer match.

On May 29, Horan tweeted this picture of himself from Wembley Stadium

“Super proud to be Irish! Great game at Wembley! Lads played their socks off! #boysingreen.”

“Thousands of Irish flew in for the game! Great scenes! Shane Long was on fire... centre halves didn’t know what to do with him... crackin’ goal too.”

“Had goosebumps listening to the Irish singing The Fields of Athenry! What a great country we are from! Love Ireland so much!”
