One Direction

Fans of the hysteria-inducing boy band have been warned to brace themselves because their pop idols look dreamier than ever in their new movie 'One Direction: This Is Us' with the help of up-to-the-minute technology.

Speaking at the 'One Direction: This Is Us' press conference in London today (19.08.13), director Morgan Spurlock said: "I think they're 78 percent more handsome in 3D. [Cinematographer] Tom Krueger completely outdid himself with this movie, it's some of the best concert 3D I've ever seen in my life."

The 'Kiss You' hitmakers were determined to include as much footage of their fans as possible, and hope they will focus on their importance in the movie and not Channel 4's recent controversial documentary, which portrayed their loyal followers as unhinged and obsessive.

Liam Payne insisted: "To be honest, we all think the fans are amazing, the dedication they show is just second to none. They're the best fans in the world. I think that was just a bit of drama."

Louis Tomlinson added: "It's better to just ignore s**t like that. And it's easier for us to do it."

Niall Horan chimed in: "It's the movie that really shows [the fans] off."

The final footage - which ignores their love lives to focus on their journey as a band - is extremely PG, but the boys insist they didn't cut out any moments which would damage their squeaky clean reputation.

Asked why the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll was left out, Harry Styles tutted before performing the sign of the cross and joking: "This is a family press conference."

Louis added: "We like to think we are rock 'n' roll but we're not really. It's a shame!"
'One Direction: This Is Us' is released in cinemas on August 29, 2013.
