The biggest pop star in the world, Lady Gaga, is teaming up with the largest coffees shop chain company, Starbucks to create an invincible super power. Their new partnership and digital promotion will attempt to entice younger drinkers into the coffee shops.

Lady Gaga has a lot of pull with Starbucks target demographic. Gaga has 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers. She has earned about $90 million in just one year, according to Forbes. She is a hot commodity.

Starbucks isnt' the only commodity she has done a deal with. According to USA Today she's also created a PR-link up with Farmville, a social network game.

Robert Thompson, professor of pop culture at Syracuse University "Teaming up with Starbucks means she's the ultimate sell-out...But that's no longer an insult. To be part of what everyone is consuming is a rarity that only happens at the Super Bowl."

So what does this all mean? Starting on Thursday, May 19, Starbucks is hosting a Gaga-tastic scavenger hunt across Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare. Gaga fans will have to follow her and collect clues.

Happily this  new team has been formed just in time to promote Gaga's new album "Born This Way" on May 23.
