Irish actor Chris O’Dowd has revealed how he managed to make it through one of his first sex scenes, he got roaring drunk to help his nerves.
The “Gulliver’s Travels” star plays the role of ladies man police officer Rhodes, in the upcoming movie and his character enjoys a role in the hay with the maid of honor played by Wiig.
The Roscommon man confessed he was so embarrassed at the prospect of filming such an intimate scene that he had a few drinks to calm his nerves beforehand.
He tells Total Film magazine, "I honestly can't remember (the scene) - I'd forgotten there even was one. If I were to make a guess I would say we were drunk, in real life. I'm not kidding! It was probably the last scene of the night and we were embarrassed.
