The 32-year-old actor – who is married to actress Demi Moore - has pledged a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the property will go to the Demi and Ashton Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises awareness for child sex slavery and the rehabilitation of victims.

According to the listing for the house on website Zillow.com, the two-story home was originally 2,002 sq ft, but was expanded to 3,235 sq ft during renovation.

The home has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and is a “modern Craftsman celebrity home up a private, gated drive.”

The listing adds: “The very private and exotic yard is highlighted by a three-tiered cascading waterway originating from an infinity-edge spa that spills into an infinity-edge pool and lastly, an infinity-edge waterfall. Gentle-rising stone stairs and paths lead through the lush greenery in back of this nearly one acre property.”
The home also offers a professional home theater and a two-story wine tower that can accommodate a 210-bottle collection.

Separate from the sale of the house, Ashton has also teamed up with website Gilt.com to sell tours around the property, which will also benefit the Demi and Ashton Foundation.

The property is one of the last remnants of Ashton’s life before he started dating Demi in 2003, later marrying her in 2005 and becoming stepfather to her three daughters, Rumer, 22, Scout, 19 and Tallulah, 17.

Ashton has said of his home, which he bought in 2004 for $1 million: “This house is close to my heart, since my dad and I spent a lot of time planning, visualizing and renovating the entire property.”
