In London last Thursday for the premiere of his new film Never Say Never, Justin Bieber appeared in the flesh, the trademark hair perfectly coiffed, the swagger on the red carpet choreographed to a tee.

In Dublin on the same night, Justin Bieber also appeared . . . but his Irish fans had to make do with a life-size cardboard cutout of the teen dream.

Yes, a tale of two Bieber-crazy countries . . . but once again, Dublin got the elbow in favor of the glitzy city across the Irish Sea. Still, a whole throng of fans, and some minor Irish celebs, turned out at the Cineworld theater for the Dublin debut, with many of them posing for pix alongside the cutout. Well, that was better than nothing, right!

But his Irish fans won’t have to wait long until they see the Biebs in person. He’ll play two sold-out shows at the O2 in Dublin on March 8 and 9. The shows sold out in 10 minutes, so Bieber Fever will be hot, hot, hot when he lands!
