THE CARE TRUST Appeal – Support Ireland’s Central Remedial Clinic, Rehab and the Mater Hospital
The Care Trust is a registered charity in Ireland. You may have seen our advert on IrishCentral .com
We have been fundraising for over 50 years. We have 3 beneficiaries, The Central Remedial Clinic, The Rehab Group and the Mater University Hospital.
Established in 1961,the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is the national organisation in Ireland for the care, treatment and development of children and adults with physical and multiple disabilities. Most clients attending the Clinic have a congenital physical disability, such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida or Erbs Palsy. The CRC services are provided free of charge.
Founded in 1959, the Rehab Group provides a comprehensive range of services to meet diverse needs. Persons who use Rehab’s services include young people and adults, with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, also children and adults with autism and those with acquired brain injury. Rehab also provides services to the elderly and marginalised and has a network of local resource centres, home based services, supported accommodation and respite care. Rehab is one of Ireland’s largest employers of people with disabilities. It is also internationally recognised as a world leader in the delivery of high quality training.
The Mater University in Dublin is the designated national centre for, for spinal injuries and is the regional hospital for North Dublin.

CRC, Rehab and the Mater Hospital all receive state funding and engage directly in fundraising. The problem is that there is never enough funding, particularly in these recessionary times. The Care Trust provides funds which our beneficiaries allocate, on a discretionary basis, to unfunded or underfunded projects.
Please support our fundraising; we will welcome your contribution be it once off or on an ongoing basis.
All contributions will be acknowledged, and of course, greatly appreciated.
