The body of missing Limerick teenager Chloe Kinsella, who has been missing sinc Saturday, has been recovered from the River Shannon.

The 15-year-old was last seen on Saturday night after leaving her family home in Kileely, Co Limerick.

She arrived home at 8pm and went to her bedroom.  It is understood she snuck out of her bedroom window around 20 minutes later.

Since the weekend hundreds of volunteers joined family members, police, and rescue teams as they searched for the missing teen in Limerick City.

Police said a body was recovered at Brown’s Quay shortly before midday on Friday by divers from Limerick Marine Search and Rescue. They later confirmed it was the missing teen.
