It's time to put your marching boots on. At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, a fundraiser will be held on behalf of New York’s only all-inclusive St. Patrick’s Parade at Molly Blooms in Sunnyside, Queens.

The parade organizers believe that equal rights should be enjoyed by all Americans, and so their annual St, Patrick’s parade, which winds from Sunnyside to Woodside in Queens, is inspired by the Irish Proclamation of 1916 which asks to “cherish all of the children of the nation equally.”

There will be a $25 suggested donation, and the evening boasts music by Mary Courtney. Prominent political leaders are scheduled to attend, as well as members of the district’s burgeoning cultural scene.

Come to participate in a good cause but you’ll want to stay for the Craic. After all, Molly Blooms is the acknowledged meeting place of the district’s progressive community.

The parade itself will be held on Sunday, March 4 at 1 p.m. There is still time to register to march in Queens’s best celebration of all things Irish, including tributes to shared Irish heritage and culture. Visit www.stpatsforall.com for more details.
