Osama Bin Laden-type outfits on sale in Strabane, County Tyrone, have been described as “racist” and “insulting."

The costumes available in the local Halloween store include a camouflage vest and a turban, according to the Belfast Telegraph. The costume costs $31 (£20).

The shop owner said that although he didn’t agree with the terrorist tag on the costumes he added that the clothes were not meant to be insulting.

Bobby Rao, Strabane Ethnic Community Association's representative, said these costumes would damage relations between nationalities in the area. He said “No-one wants to see children in terrorist outfits and they should be removed.”
