Should Ireland's present government survive it's full five year term, it will based on the current trend in opinion polls end up handing back the running of the country to fianna fail. The Irish electorate are very 'fickle' and will quickly forget who got them into the mess they are currently experiencing. I saw the CEO of Cantor this morning heaping praise on Ireland and putting his company's money where it's mouth is by announcing it's acquisition of Dolmen stockbrokers, with plans to create 200 jobs. This will mean nothing to the average Irish voter, many of whom believe in their innocence that a return to fianna fail will magically bring the Celtic Tiger party back.
