Co. Cavan report on the Quinn Insurance Group caught my attention. I hope and support the survival of the Quinn Insurance Group. Quinn provides so much employment for the people that its demise would be destructive and devasating for the employees and their families. Mistakes have been made but in my opinion being understanding would be best for all concerned including the country at this particular time.

Just a thought on the bullying situation. As a former teacher, I had kids come running up to me on the playground saying.."Ms.K. so and so is making fun of me." I would immediately confromt the other kid and ask if it were true and have he or she apologize. Another time this big boy was bullying his smaller brother at a bus stop. I said, "quit picking on him." I didn't know the bully, but he stopped. My point is: we've got to take action now. Are these kids coming to school with cell phones? Get rid of the cell phones in school. The fact that there have been suicides related to bullying tells me that we are raising sociopaths in our society.
