The birth place of any transpiring nation should be protected. Had those men and woman without mandate or massive support not been so brave Adams would still be a british MP. Pity he continues to use the proclamation as referance considering he has used and abused the same to aid the brits.

Anything would be better then the eyesore that is in our Moore Street now. Most of the Chinese and other foreign stores have started to move out. Merefalow, what rubbish are you talking about the men and women of 1916? They did the best they could but they were outnumbered. Ireland got there in the end so what's your problem?

Ironically, that neighborhood is now entirely non-Irish. I bet they'll get mad if the Irish try to build a cultural center there. It would interfere with their halal meatstores, Chinese phone stores and Western Union type offices for sending money back home. They'll veto it!
