If you missed this and want to end your life, just find someone dutch and tell them you don't believe in what they do there or you know they married Irish women and killed them for a thrill. The dutch will end your life very quickly! Beats doing it yourself! Tell that Dr. Death to keep their island ways on their own island!

Honestly Maghnus you should not need to spend extra. Many countries with health care systems which are semi public like Ireland and France spend significantly less per person on free health care for persons who cannot afford private healthcare (which is desireable in these countries). America spends more than these countries based on total population already. It should be cheaper!

oh, by the way, I also think it's important to point out, that I also have my own health insurance, and still, with the knowledge that I will be paying for my own health insurance with an additional $3000 dollars in taxes a year for a health care plan that doesn't benefit me whatsoever, I'm still okay with it. And for any of you morons out there that want to say, "hey, that's sounds kinda socialistic or liberal of you," then I say this...considering that unemployment is up, and everybody in America is waiting for President Obama to come up with something, and then complains at the outcome when he does, yeah, America is definitely heading towards a socialistic Government, and for any of you who don't like that idea, then this is what you do. DON'T join the Tea Party (a bunch of laid off high-paid corporate executives who are angry because they suddenly found themselves unemployed and figured out they actually had to work for a living) Instead, why don't you make it a point to try and help your communities, go in business for yourselves, DON'T depend on the government, and for God's sake, don't donate to charities that are "helping" people in other countries...donate to charities that are helping OUR Country. IF you want America to be great again, then it's US (we the people)who have to get off our asses and get in gear. It is our responsibility to make our Country what we want it to be. The Government is there to represent and assist the people, not to tell them what to do. Seriously, quit complaining and get your asses in gear!

For once, I actually agree with you PlasticPaddy. You people are truly stupid. OMG!! A health care system that will potentially help thousands of people!!! That's un-American!!! Why should we do that?! By the way, people; I'm a lower-class working American with full knowledge that I will be paying an additional $3000 dollars in taxes a year to help my neighbors out...I'm okay with that! Get a clue, people! If any of you had the slightest idea what living without freedom was like at all, you wouldn't be complaining about this; you wouldn't be complaining at all. But hey, don't listen to me, just go back to ABUSING your rights and freedoms and complaining that the world isn't anything like you'd want it to be...(because none of you would put the EFFORT into making it that way, anyway) NEW AMERICAN MOTTO: Let's do nothing for ourselves; we'll blame the Government instead.
WAKE UP IDIOTS!!!!!

Sungold, do you really expect anyone to believe that tripe, that one of the most untouchable and profitable industries in the US cannot deal with a little competition, utter tripe

@DLW: you too will benefit from the new health care legislation, even if you work for a health insurance company.
If you really hate it so much you'll always have the option to emigrate to countries like Brazil where you don't have to get health insurance and people have the freedom to die or go bankrupt due to lack of health insurance. Go for it!

I suspect he will become a permanent employee of the US Government now that we have adopted limited health care.
