The Corrigan Brothers

The Corrigan Brothers, the Irish Band who has the International hit “There’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama” amassing over seven million YouTube hits, have just recorded “Welcome Home President Barack Obama” with the community of Moneygall, President Obama’s Ancestral Irish Village, and RTE Radio personalities Derek Mooney and Brenda O’Donoghue.

The video celebrates the forthcoming visit of the President to Moneygall, Ireland in May 2011. The song will be released as a single in Ireland and the USA at the end of April with all proceeds to be donated to charity.

Ger Corrigan, the lead singer of the band, said: “We are delighted to have made this video with the Moneygall community and it was great to have Derek and Brenda involved. The President will be seeing the video in the coming weeks and I’m sure he will enjoy it and make him even more excited about visiting his Irish home town of Moneygall, County Offaly."

I think the video is great,its to bad your not welcoming someone who will appreciate it. This is one president who can't have any Irish Blood in him.He has done nothing to be proud of & he's running out of time. Watch your back.

Thought this was a Hoot. I'm sure President Obama will love it. Wish he had more time to visit. I've always been proud to be Irish American, but sharing ancestry with Obama makes it even better.

... I'm in tears. 5 hours will probably be fine as there's too much to explain. Bill should come back and finish what he started. His ancestors up in Fermanagh are restless again. It's haunting us "Ireland unfree shall never be at peace". Wasn't it wonderful to see India win the world crown in our game. All is not lost.
