Brits also released information about a telegram to Thatcher from an American actress regarding the 1981 Hunger Strike. It was big news in Belfast and London. Surprised nothing in Irish Central. Veteran actress Jane Fonda personally lobbied former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the 1980s in a bid to end hunger strikes in Northern Ireland. According to newly-released files from Belfast Public Records Office, she sent a telegram to Thatcher in May, 1981, urging the leader to reclassify all Irish republican inmates as political prisoners after a series of mass protests. The message from Fonda stated, "Please save the lives of the hunger strikers by granting them political status. The sanctity of human life must override any political considerations."
Sounds to ma as though Flanagan a FG is slinging mud at Ellis a SFer. Politics as usual. Come across the pond boys.
maggy and ronny did their colluded share such an Empire pair - knighthooding and such followed. Malvinas, Grenada, Iran, NI - aint gonna end that special thingme you know. Supporting the mother - took 'em time on the S/A and NI Apartheid - don't forget you masses - with propaganda ya'll be blaming their victims, as is typical.
Flanagan is the typical West Brit bowing to the wishes of his British masters. If he wants a 'Truth commission" he should clear it with his boss in London(Cameron)I doubt he would want a truth commission.
Are the Brits going to release the papers that show that Thatcher ordered the murder of Patrick Finucane?
Good man Dessie.
So Ironic that Dessie`s party now tell nationalists to pass information to the same brit intelligence that history has always proven as untrustworthy.
How many of these alleged murders did the British government allegedly collude in?
