A young New York couple, who got engaged earlier this year, hope to win their dream destination wedding. They want to be  married in the home of JetBlue and Aer Lingus at JFK Airport, Terminal 5.

Marelle Enoch-Marx (25) and her fiance got engaged at the end of June this year. A few weeks later, she received an email about a JetBlue contest to win a free wedding at the company’s T5 Terminal in JFK, also home to Irish airline Aer Lingus.

Marelle said they hadn’t yet made their decision about the ceremony but wanted the “destination wedding,” Metro.us reported.

Enoch-Marx and Sean Cacciabaudo, 29, met in January 2012 through a bowling league out of Port Authority. They ended up on the same team and took the 6 Train home together. They now live together in East Harlem.

Enoch-Marx, originally from New York, said her friends and family are supportive of their choice to marry in an airport if they win the contest.

She said, “We could get married in a cardboard box and it wouldn’t matter.”

If the pair win the contest, they also get a free honeymoon to Hawaii, courtesy of JetBlue and Hawaiian Airlines. But Enoch-Marx said she’s not afraid her wedding will become too commercialized.

“I’m marrying the love of my life and it doesn’t concern me who promotes that,” she said.

Voting for the contest closes Sunday just before midnight. If they win, the wedding will take place Oct. 23.
