Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook, strolled incognito around Dublin streets at the weekend, unlike the two high profile visitors Queen Elizabeth and Barack Obama who recently visited Ireland.

Zuckerberg was dressed in a dark green hoodie and strolled from his hotel the Dylan on Baggott street to Stephen’s Green taking in the sights on the way.

He was on his iPhone most of the walk and passers by showed no recognition that one of the greatest entrepreneur in the history of the web was walking by.

There was a security presence with a bodyguard about 30 feet behind  him and a silver van carrying other security at a discreet distance,

The 27-year-old Zuckerberg is said to be worth $15 billion from his share in Facebook. He was in Dublin to celebrate the first year of his company’s European headquarters.

He signed the white board at the company headquarters "First time in Dublin. May 27, 2011. Good to meet all you folks. Mark," he wrote.

There was a party on Friday night for staff that he attended.  200 people are employed at the Dublin office.
