Chris O'Dowd and James Franco will make their Broadway debuts next year as a pair of unlikely friends in a revival of the stage adaptation of John Steinbeck's 'Of Mice and Men.'

Irish actor and "Bridesmaids" star O’Dowd will play Lennie and Franco will play George in the revival of the show, which steps out after a 40 year absence, and is scheduled to start performances in March at the Longacre Theatre.

According to The Star Tony Award-winner Anna D. Shapiro has been tapped to direct.

Steinbeck's story follows two migrant field workers in California during the Great Depression — the dreamer George and his mentally challenged friend Lennie. It's the first revival of the show on Broadway in 40 years.
