The family of Patrick “Paddy” Reilly would like to thank everyone who sent beautiful floral arrangements, vestments, food and monetary donations, called us with a kind word, sent a card, messages or was just there to help with anything that needed to be done.

Especially the doctors, nurses and all the staff at The Palliative Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital, NYC, Father Saur and the Church of Saint Mel, as well as the musicians and singers Johnny Murphy, Jeanne MacDonald, Rudy Albert.

Deirdre and Thomas O’Reilly, Mary Coyne-Byrne, Fr. Lee, Jimmy McCarty and the NYPD, the Cavan, Armagh, and United Irish Counties Associations of NY, Sean and Brendan Straw and all the staff at the Astoria Brewhouse, Eugene Rooney, Matt Connell, and Aiden Murphy.

For all those who traveled near and far, and especially those who travelled to America and Ireland. Aer Lingus, Frederick Funeral Home, Fr. Thomas Franks and The Church of St. John the Baptist, Fr. Gilbert Martinez and The Church of St Paul The Apostle.

The sudden loss of Paddy was made a little easier with the love and support we received from our friends and family. Your expressions of sympathy were greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Unfortunately, it has been impossible to contact everyone individually. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

We lost a wonderful man who can never be replaced.
But when we are lonely and sick of heart, go to friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me – but let me go.
