Ed Sheeran has another line to add to his packed resume, if British tabloids are correct – ordained minister.

The superstar singer, reports The Daily Star, will become an ordained minister in California for a day so he can legally marry his pals, Friends alum Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid from Co. Derry.

ES introduced his two pals a couple of years ago and they hit it off immediately. They got engaged last year, but like her secretive bestie Jennifer Aniston, Courteney hasn’t revealed when she’ll tie the knot.

“They both agree it would be tons of fun as well as extremely fitting if Ed’s the one to join them in holy matrimony,” a source told the Star.

And Ed, whose global popularity knows no bounds, thinks it’ll be a “hoot” to play reverend for a day.

“He had already agreed to perform a couple of ballads after they exchange vows, so it seemed logical to him that he should get them hitched too,” the source added.

We’re waiting….
