Jamie Dornan has been busy these days. His film Jadotville, scheduled for release next year by Netflix, is in post-production, and in September he’ll team with fellow Irish actor Cillian Murphy to star in Anthropoid, which is set in World War II.

Dornan was in the Czech Republic last week to discuss Anthropoid at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He’ll spend several weeks filming in the Czech Republic next month, and told reporters he’s excited to play a Czech resistance fighter whose job is to eliminate a top Nazi general.

“You always need a drive in everything you do and a reason to tell the story. As an actor, you’ve got to have something that drives you every day on the set,” he said. “Could there be any stronger drive needed than the opportunity to assassinate someone so horrific? There’s nobody in the world now who can’t see that [his character, Heydrich] was evil… So to have that, to bring that to work every day, I’m so excited about the idea of having that as my drive.”
