The cream of Hollywood turned out last week for U2’s five sold-out shows at the Forum in LA.

Leading the Irish contingent of VIPs was Pierce Brosnan, wearing Bono-like shades and accompanied by his wife Keely. Others on the guest list included Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin, George Clooney and his wife Amal, Julia Roberts, Jimmy Kimmel, and Kanye Kardashian with a bunch of his in-laws (but not Caitlyn, who doesn’t even need a last name.)

Bono was in a generous mood after one of the shows when he finished chowing down at Canter’s Deli in West Hollywood. The waitress, 80-year-old Bella Haig, recommended a meal for the U2 frontman – matzoh ball soup, a Reuben sandwich with fries and rings – and received a $150 tip for her efforts.

“I was happy to wait on him,” she told the press. “He looks better, actually, in person than he does on stage.”
