YouTube sensation Peter Casey says he lived up to his promise after his horse won a big race at Leopardstown – and he told an interviewer he would have sex that night.

The seventy something racehorse trainer shocked the Irish nation with his lewd claim on live television.
Interviewed by Tracey Piggott, daughter of Lester, on Irish state television, Casey declared that he would celebrate his first Grade One success with a romp of his own.

“It’s unreal, I can’t believe it. I’ll have f.... sex tonight,” Casey told RTE after Flemenstar won the Arkle Novice Chase at Leopardstown by 19 lengths.

The remark has trended on Twitter and YouTube  has already attracted over 130,000 hits – even if Casey called it FaceTube in a radio interview on Monday.

He also revealed in that interview that he had gone for a bit of a gallop of his own on Sunday night with embarrassed wife Janey.

“Ya, oh ya. No problem. It was a good night,” said father of four Casey when asked by RTE presenter John Murray if his celebrations had gone according to plan.

Casey also admitted that wife Janey was a little upset by his remarks.

He added: “She had the case ready alright but she didn’t throw me out. She was going to throw me out. She loves me too much. Not a bother on her.”

The worldwide attention has caught Casey by surprise, so much so that he has pledged to keep quiet in the future.

“The phone hasn’t stopped ringing all morning. I know nothing about Facebook, or facetube or anything,” he admitted.

“All I know about is the tube of a motor car. I don’t know nothing about the internet. All I know about the net is you put the ball in the net.

“I don’t know what YouTube is to tell you the truth.”

Casey also refused to reveal his exact age. He said: “I’m over 70. I’m over 72 or 73. I’m still very active.”
Wife Janey told Murray that she wasn’t shocked or surprised by her husband’s remarks.

“That’s the way he gets on,” she said. “If you knew him that’s the way he do be carrying on.

“You’d want to hear the grandchildren about it. They’re 16 and 18 and 10 and they’re delighted.”
